Named in honor of our dear friend Michael “Murph” Tymon.

The 5th annual Michael “Murph” Tymon Open (2025) will benefit local non-profit organizations, the Demuth Museum & Music for Everyone:

“The Demuth Foundation’s mission is to promote the appreciation and awareness of the visual arts in Lancaster. The Demuth Foundation works to preserve the legacy of Charles Demuth and his groundbreaking art, support current local and regional artists, and inspire a new generation of creatives. This is accomplished through unique exhibitions and engaging educational programs to serve a diverse community. “

“MFE provides resources and experiences in support of music education to transform lives, schools and communities. Since 2006, MFE has provided grants to local school districts and community centers, held musical events throughout Lancaster, and helped to strengthen the role that music plays in our schools and throughout our communities, including: $4,000,000+ in grants and program support, 13,000+ instruments donated, 182 street pianos and thousands of students mentored.”
